Patrick Joins New Movie.

Hey Gabblers – Well, we all know I can’t get enough of Patrick Dempsey so I’m ecstatic the we have an announcement of him in a new movie role.
AFM: Amanda Seyfried & Patrick Dempsey Join ‘Wonderful Tonight’
EXCLUSIVE: The Red Riding Hood star and the Grey’s Anatomy star are set to be unexpected parents in Wonderful Tonight. The romantic comedy with Amanda Seyfried and Patrick Dempsey will be directed by Christine Jeffs from a script by J. Mills Goodloe. Wonderful Tonight follows a one-night stand that not only leads to a baby but a stand-off between the two sudden parents about what they want from each other and themselves. Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer will produce for Castle Rock Entertainment with Donna Roth and Susan Arnold. Myriad Pictures’ President/CEO Kirk D’Amico will serve as Executive Producer. Myriad is handling the financing and worldwide rights to the film. They will be pre-selling Wonderful Tonight this week at AFM this week. Christine Jeffs and Patrick Dempsey are repped by UTA. Amanda Seyfried is repped by Innovative Artists.

Yes! I think Patrick is at his best when playing in a romantic comedy, though I don’t think he gets enough credit for his drama work. The man can show sheer pain with his eyes. I know I’ll be seeing this one, will you? Tell us below.

No doubt about it. I will be first in line to see anything with Patrick in it especially a romantic comedy.

Patrick,you’re so much better than this-comedy-

I love Patrick in anything at all. I do believe he can do drama. He was on a show (darn can’t remember the name of it) where he played the woman’s seriously mentally ill brother. He was was amazing. Oh, It was called Once & Again. He got an Emmy nom for that part.
