“Walking on a Dream” – The Seattle Grace doctors are on edge when a new medical professional enters the hospital; Arizona struggles with the emotional and physical pain of a phantom limb; and while battling pregnancy hormones, an overly-emotional Meredith is confronted with her worst fear, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, JANUARY 24 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

I think Meredith’s worst fear is something happening to her pregnancy or Zola or Derek. Maybe Derek’s hand doesn’t get fixed. What else could her worst fear be?
Love season 9 so far. Can’t wait for Thursday.

Maybe the fear has to do with a pregnancy patient losing the baby?

phantom limb happens to most amputees. i was kind of excited to hear that they will acknowledge this.
also i think merideth’s worst fear is that she has to tell everyone she’s pregnant before she is ready.

phantom leg is when an amputee has the sensation that a limb is still there. they feel like they can move it and when they look it’s not there. the brain still sends nerve impulses, but the reaction can not be carried out because it’s not there. in some cases it can be very painful.

The phantom leg sensation will be a life long sensation. I’m sure Callie would have expected this to have happened to Arizona.
If Mer starts crying I’ll start too. I know I will. Mer’s worse fear? It could be everyone getting soppy and not realising she’s worrying so much about a miscarriage.
A new doc, can’t think what their specialty could be. A new neuro surgeon who is really good and Der would feel a bit over shadowed by? Just a guess
