SPOILER – Shonda Dishes HUGE Couples Goss!

Ok Gabblers…. this is what I would consider HUGELY spoiler-ish in a few ways so if you don’t want to be spoiled in the ways of MerDer or Calzone or Owina, do not.. I repeat DO NOT read on below…. This is in excerpt from over at TwoP with thanks to merrocks29..
The cover of the TV Guide is the Fall Sweeps Episode and has a picture of Mer & Der and says “Mer & Der on the rocks”…
Inside: After butting heads with the chief, Derek comtemplates his position at SGH and it begins to take a toll on his relationship with Mer. SR says she’s committed to keeping the couple in a happy place but warns, “We’re going to start to see a little bit of a rocky road for them due to the battle between Derek and the Chief” An episode about a big pediatric case will showcase surgeon Arizona. “Its a chance to get to know Arizona better” says Rhimes. “We’ll understand why Callie loves her.” With Izzie having been fired from the hospital and walking out on Alex she’ll be MIA except for one episode, which introduces the high school teacher who changed her life. With out Izzie at his side, Rhomes says Alex “is making his best effore to stay the good guy we’ve seen him grow up to be, but he may not make it.” November will also see the arrival of Kim Raver as a heart surgeon named Teddy. Whilte her name maybe cuter, Rhimes says the character is anything but. She’s kind of a badass who joined the army where she became close friend with Owen. Now she’s here to test the waters”. Should Cristina be worried about this Teddy bear taking away her cuddle time. (original source)

Well this makes me a little happy because it seems that Teddy and Owen did not have a romantic relationship but were friends. Obviously Teddy wants more but Owen will not be having that, he loves Cristina too much! I just know they will not break up over this!

I’m happy as long as MerDer are happy. Hey we may get some screen time! I wonder if there is a question mark on the TV Guide cover Mer and Der on the rocks? or Mer and Der on the the rocks. ONe is a possibility and the other a statement.

Don’t we already know why? Lol I was under the impression that perkiness, adorableness, sweetness and sheer awesomeness of Arizona was among the reasons… but I guess there might be something even more lovable to come!
Haha, yeah I thought it was pretty obvious too, but I don’t mind finding out more! Bring it!
that was exactly my reaction! isn’t it obvious why Callie loves Arizona?! but anyways,there’s more!!!!!i am sooo excited about that episode! only 10 days!

i’m good with merder rocky relationship but not a third party pls…
i want alex to just concentrate on his work and give their marriage a break…izzie leaving him just like that..talk about building a life together …

I am good with a little MerDer drama but only if they will stay happy, together and stong and I hope that Shonda don’t bring another woman/man into this we had enough drama and crap of that secret wife, stupid vets and ugly Roses, plus they are married now! But it makes me worried a bit less that, SR says she’s committed to keeping the couple in a happy place.
About Owen/Teddy/Cris.. it makes me feel better that they didn’t have a romantic relationship, but my guess is that she want more from him!!
Izzie/Alex.. I have a feeling that the Reed girl is going to make a move on Alex. Now that his wife left him and he is hurting. Anyone else saw how she was looking at him last episode?!?!

Every time I read about MerDer and rocks my heart sinks. If Der is testing boundaries with the chief’s folly merger I would imagine that he’ll be wanting to look elsewhere for challenges. But Mer will need to finish her residency at SGH.
When Der took Mer home, he was not a happy man and he forgot to give her a greeting kiss. Not good, but as much as I’d like it to be a trouble free marriage, we’d need some drama within the relationship.
Career or marriage to be put first, i guess Der will be tackling that soon

Ok, if i understood correctly (sorry but english is not my first language) Shonda wants merder in a happy place right? so this is not a bad thing right? I mean they are not going to break up, right?

Yes.. as I understand it… MerDer will come through ok but it will be rocky, as in there will be tough times ahead where their relationship will be tested but they will come through it.

Yeah, I noticed in the last episode that when Der wheeled Mer out, he wasn’t exactly the “McDreamy” hubby we’re used to seeing. I just attributed it to the horrible day in the ER & his confronting the Chief.
Just give us some quality Mer/Der time…please?

Mer should not suffer with the chief thing. And I don’t want Dereks to be chief too. Look what happened to Richard and Adele’s mariage.
MerDer needs their happy ending : D And I’m not talking about boring storylines, but those ones exciting, that makes us up and down about this couple. This make any sense? I don’t think so xD
