I found this online a short time ago and while its not a completely shining review, one of the cast gets a grand mention. So I will post the snippet on here and see what you all think. Because you know I love reading your comments! Warning there is some strong language in this.
-“Grey’s Anatomy” thoughts: And here’s another show that’s in big trouble when it comes to excitement. So far, this new season has been kind of lame and listless. George’s death? Hasn’t really mattered yet. Izzy’s cancer is in remission, but she’s decided to leaver her husband Karev and have some kind of personal freak out. Meredith is now married to McDreamy but show creator/producer Shonda Rhimes hasn’t figured out what that all means. Christina is fighting with Owen for some reason (that whole shell shock thing that happened last season sure got pushed into the background, didn’t it?). McSteamy is still banging little Grey but who cares? And Bailey is just sort of hanging around the hospital, yelling at people.
There are two interesting things going on, though. The whole hospital merger thing with Mercy West has added a bit of energy into the story (just a bit, though. The doctors that have come over from Mercy West haven’t exactly made a big impression yet. What’s the deal with that woman with the big eyes that has the hots for Karev?). I, personally, would like to see more arguing between Richard Webber, Chief of Surgery, and the rich scumbag administrator that Mitch Pileggi is playing (it’s so odd seeing good old Walter Skinner side-by-side with Alvin Kersh. It’s also odd seeing Pileggi playing a straight laced scumbag businessman on Thursdays and a dirty Nazi skinhead scumbag on “Sons of Anarchy” on Tuesdays).
The other interesting thing going on is the lesbian relationship between Callie and Arizona. Jessica Capshaw’s Dr. Arizona Robbins has become a breath of fresh air on the show. She’s funny, she has an interesting specialty (kids), and she’s incredibly hot. Her girlfriend Callie (Sara Ramirez) is pretty goddamn hot, too (Callie also has an interesting specialty, bone breaking and whatnot). They have great chemistry together. So what the heck is the hold up with putting more focus on them and considerably less on Meredith’s bullshit, or Izzy’s?
Yeah, I know, fat chance of anything like that ever happening.
You know, I’m beginning to think more and more that what “Grey’s Anatomy” needs is for Patrick Dempsey’s character to leave. I mean, Meredith isn’t going anywhere, she’s pretty much the central character of the show, but Dempsey’s Derek Shepherd isn’t. He could easily go away and the show could get some other alpha male for Meredith to drool over. That could help get the show get over the big ass hump it’s currently trying to navigate over.
What are the chances of any of that happening?
Damned if I know.

The author has some thoughts on other well known shows. But I wanna hear your opinion on what he has to say about Greys… And I would lay money that there will be a few strong opinions on this one….

looooove seeing Calzone getting more recognition. They are definitely the highlight of the show for me! More focus on them I say, lasts weeks episode was one of the best ever!

I think the author is crazy…and if PD leave I guess I would leave too…Meredith without Derek or viceversa isn’t an option…

Agree, this guy is full of it. As soon as Patrick Dempsey is off this show, myself and many others will not be watching.

@Sina, me too derek is meredith\’s life hint the word merder they are meant for each other and i swear if he does leave its over greys is going off my clalendar. we have been waiting 5 freakin seasons for this marriage and merder life and they have done great they cant just take off the guy that pulls all the girls in that would be a crazy ideal so im with u i dont agree with the author either

I laugh at the idea that Derek/PD leaving is what’s going to bring this show back to life (like it needs that). If anything, he’s sorta what’s keeping it alive while EP gets back to carry the show.

Woah. What a hateful hateful man. Seriously. A show without Derek? Is he kidding? Um, I’m pretty sure most females absolutely adore/drool over Derek shepherd every episode. Even if he’s being an ass… because lets face it, Derek pissed off = HOT! I really get angry at people like this. Really, because it’s obvious they don’t like the show. When a critic/person criticizes a show they hate… of course they’re going to make up stuff about how amazingly crap everything. Usually the first jab they make is Meredith is whingey, this story line got put on the back burner, we’re sick of Izzie, nothings good, it’s a sinking ship.
The things I laugh most at, is that regardless of what these moron’s say…Grey’s Anatomy has the highest viewer ratings of any show on ABC. It’s been going for 6 seasons now, it’s it’s still strong and has an amazing cast. So really… it’s not going anywhere. It would be crazy for ABC to ever let it go.
I love Grey’s as much as the first time it was ever aired. I still adore the characters, plots, and pairings… although I do want Jackson and Cris to get together
LOL. But yeah. I hate reading stuff from morons that have their mind set on hating a show they truly don’t know a lot about.

there is no doubt that if patrick left, ratings would go down and there wouldnt be as many viewers.
he is one of the main characters, and too many people love him to let him go.
is this person CRAZY to think that the show would be better off without him? that is just crazy, crazy, crazy.
