Here’s the latest Spoiler Chat from Watch With Kristin @ E! Online.
And just a little heads up there is some info for Owina fans and little about the Mercy Westers.
Cristina hates her. With a passion. And so far, it seems that some of you fans do too.
Ever since Kim Raver (whom Cristina named “Desert Storm Barbie”) was introduced on Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, our inbox has overflowed with messages from fans wanting to know what’s next for their favorite couple, Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd), now that Kim’s character, Dr. Teddy Altman, is in the mix.
Well, we just talked to Kevin himself, and he admits that he, too, was concerned at first about the triangle, but he warmed up to it, and tells you fans why you might want to keep an open mind.

She’s not going anywhere for the time being, my friend, and according to Kevin, that is a very good thing! (We believe him because he’s the straight-up sort of guy who admits he had his doubts at first and because he also has a sexy Scottish accent that makes you want to believe him.) “When we heard the pitch of this idea for the storyline this year,” Kevin tells us, “I think Sandra and I were kind of initially like, ‘This is bad.’ I think we felt this is a good thing with these two and there could have been more storylines to tell. But you know, I met Kim and we started to work and what seemed to be coming clear very quickly is that we three actors have great respect for each other. And that adds a really interesting dynamic to the triangle as it is played out on the screen because all three of us actors have great respect for each other.”

We’ll have more for you from Kevin before the next Grey’s ep, but for now we can share with you what Kevin says: “It’s not going to be some petty, juvenile, immature thing. It’s going to be really interesting and very intense. It’s going to get much hotter and complicated between the three of them because it is such an adult problem that they have…People are hopefully going to be very, very torn and very involved and kind of sucked into it. I think it’s a very interesting story we’re telling.” Perhaps we should all keep an open mind? Thoughts?Mariah in Louisiana: I hate the new Mercy Westers. Please tell me they leave Grey’s Anatomy soon.
We can confirm that Nora Zehetner is still on the show as we speak, and we’re pretty sure the rest of the gang will be hanging around for a while as well. Sorry.(Source)

I don’t like Teddy. And also hope she isn’t around too long. I just want her to stay away from Callie and Arizona that’s all I care about. But I do feel too many new characters are taking away from the friendships and couples that I like to watch.

Torn? Yeah you got torn. I do like Teddy and Kim Raver. Believable acting, I see the pain and disappointment in her eyes. But what’s worrying is that Owen has just realised her feelings and I can almost see him back up and think….’Could I have made a big mistake?’ I think Shonda/Co did a smart thing not putting any emotional scenes for Owina as I’ve started to disconnect from them. Then Teddy comes in and you get the chemistry between her and Owen. Yep – T-O-R-N…..Cristina I still love you and if Owen doesn’t want you, then Burke needs to come back.

Oh yeah definitely not liking Mercy Westers especially REed and Mr Potato Head. Like Jackson only coz he\’s spicing things up.

I think this is just going to make Cristina/Owen stronger! I am going to keep believing in them and pray for the best! But sadly it is making me hate Teddy before I even get to know the character!

I honestly think that Cristina and Owen will come out on top. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that KMK and SO are very protective of this relationship. And I don’t think that they would have been okay with any sort of sabotage, especially with the remarkable love story they’d built last season. It would be a waste to topple everything built for a cheap thrill of a dramatic love triangle. I figure if SO and KMK are okay with the way things are going, then we should be, too. I mean, they live and breathe these characters. Of course, they’re more invested in them than we are. And many sources have said before that their relationship will be stronger because of the things they go through this season. I, for one, am looking forward to that. So, bring on the bumps and obstacles. I’m going to go down with this ship. Call me the captain of the Cristina/Owen love boat. LOL. All aboard!

How about Teddy cuddles up with Jackson and leaves C/O alone. There was some spark there between them last ep and all existing couples stay together.

Every time I see one of the Mercy Westers, except for maybe Avery (whatever his name is) all I can think is, “THEY’RE WASTING SCREEN TIME ON THESE PEOPLE WHEN IT COULD BE A CHARACTER I LOVE”. Yes all in caps.

I personally can’t wait. I would love it if they threw Jackson in the mix and it turned into a quad! That would be A-MAZING. lol

Make the MWers go away…they are useless. I’m not even interested enough to learn their names. They take screen time from our favs. Please, MAKE THEM GO AWAY!!!!!
