Hey Gabblers! :)   Here are some press releases that have surfaced lately for Kate Walsh’s new movie project “Waska”.  Check them out below!!! :D

Kate Walsh Arrives For The Late Show!

Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh are starring in indie ensemble drama “Waska,” directed by Gaby Dellal (“On a Clear Day”).

Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan also star. Catherine Trieschmann penned the script based on the novel “Angels Crest” by Leslie Schwartz.

Pic recently commenced principal photography in Calgary.

Story centers on a young father who loses his son, throwing the community into disarray at the time of Waska — the first snowfall of the year, which is magical but often treacherous.

Dellal is attached to direct “Lorelei,” written by Chloe King.

Piven, best known for “Entourage,” is doing voice work on “Marmaduke,” now lensing. Walsh (“Private Practice”) will soon be seen in “Legion.”  (source – variety.com)

Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh are starring in “Waska,” an indie drama being produced by Tim Perell and Shirley Vercruysse of Process Film.

Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan are also in the movie.

Based on a novel by Leslie Schwartz, the story follows a young father (Dekker) whose 3-year-old son freezes to death during a fishing trip. As a local prosecutor (Piven) goes after him, townspeople like his ex-wife (Collins) rage at him and others support him as he attempts to makes sense of what happened.

Catherine Trieschmann wrote the adaptation, which is being directed by Gaby Dellal.

The movie is shooting in Calgary, Alberta.   “Entourage” star Piven, repped by CAA, also is lending his voice for “Marmaduke.”

Collins, repped by WME and 3 Arts Entertainment, will shoot “John Carter of Mars” after wrapping “Waska.” She most recently co-starred in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”

Walsh stars on ABC’s “Private Practice” and will be seen on the big screen in Screen Gems’ “Legion” and MGM’s “Hot Tub Time Machine.”  Sorvino, repped by ICM and Untitled, recently wrapped the Russian-produced war drama “Leningrad” with Gabriel Byrne.

Dekker, repped by ICM and the Schiff Co., is best known for starring as John Connor in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and next appears in “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” (source)
