Watch with Kristin at Eonline has some interesting news for you all about Meredith and the new comer Jackson…
Grey’s Anatomy: Episode 15 of Grey’s Anatomy this season features a flashback to the romance between Chief Webber and Meredith’s late mother Ellis Grey, and the series is now casting for younger versions of James Pickens Jr. and Kate Burton.
Hmmm…although the story for this episode is most likely about the roots of Chief’s alcoholism, this casting development doesn’t do much to debunk rumors that the Hotness Monster is Ellis and Richard’s secret love child. (Who is the Hotness Monster? That’s Jesse Williams, who plays Mercy Wester Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy but got his fan nickname—say it like Loch Ness Monster—during a stint on ABC Family’s Greek.)
Fans have long wondered if Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) daddy issues with Chief were strictly psychological or if there was a genetic component to the relationship, but attention on the long-lost baby front has now shifted to young Dr. Avery. What’s your take on this tantalizing fan speculation?

This is all speculation, nothing confirmed yet but it is still quite interesting! I wonder if he is her half-brother and eww he kissed her best friend

I love Jackson, but we’ve never really seen any interraction between him and Merdith so I don’t know what they think of each other. If it’s him and they like each other, then great, but since this is a drama show, I’m guessing they won’t lol

I have thought about the possibility, that Jackson might be Mer’s half brother.

There were also a rumour before season 6 start about a love child of Richard and Ellis and Meredith have a half brother!! I would love that storyline if they do something like that, more drama!! Also that means more Meredith screen time

I had a feeling that Jackson might be Mer\’s little bro. And the 6.15 just gave it out. They also have GREEN eyes!!

I honestly thought the love child angle was over and done with, but now ..
Ellis didn’t kick out Thatch til Mer was 5. The storyline was that Ellis/Richard had nearly finished their residency (Ellis talked about this in her confusion) and Ellis was concerned they were going to end up in different places doing their fellowships, hence the expectation that Richard would leave Adele. I guess Ellis could have been pregnant when Richard walked away.
Surely there will be a hint of this in Ellis’s diaries? Meredith didn’t read them all, but the chief said he was reading them before MerDer got hitched.
Also if Shonda has had instructions to build up a new cast for going beyond 7 seasons(ugh), she may want a new Grey for the title.But Avery is the most promient of the 3 MW docs that joined the cast.

noooooo thats WAY too daytime soap opera for me. I see no point in bringing in/up mer’s 1/2 sibling, she already has lexie. shes enough.
