SPOILER- An Extra Speaks

An extra on the set of Grey’s Anatomy wrote about her time there on December 9th and the things she saw. It is quite interesting but has some spoilers so click below to read more…
12/9/09. I got to be on the Grey’s Anatomy set for the day. I talked to Katherine Heigl’s stand-in in a scene since she was dressed as a doctor. That was a birds-eye-view of the hospital. In the next scene, I was sitting behind the blinds as Bailey and The Chief talked in the conference room. Finally as The Chief & Derek fight in the conference room and Derek leaves the room in a huff, the doctors and “Visitors” (Me) have to react like, “wtf” is going on. We then scatter. So, in total (l saw: Patrick Dempsey, James Pickens Jr., Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, Zora Zehetner, Kevin McKidd, Robert Baker, and Eric Dane. They were all hanging around to see their argument as well. Awesome day. The Seattle Grace set is amazing. So extensive. You feel like you’re in an actual hospital. Another fun fact from my day, the holding room for the extras housed the “house” of Meredith Grey. It was open so I walked a bit inside the main foyer where the stairs were and the living room. Brought me back to the good ole days of all the interns living in there.

Still interested to see it though! And this girl is so lucky, I wish I was an actor so I could be on that set even for just an hour! That would make my life! Of course I would actually have to know how to act and live in LA…oh well I guess a girl can dream!

KH stand in? does that mean shes back? ohhh i hope sooo
This sounds to me like it’s from an old episode. Perhaps the one where Der and Chief had that yelling match before Izzie was fired or something. It doesn’t sound new. But, that said. I could be wrong.

I’ve been trying to figure out how Iz would have some validity to return to SGMWH as a trainee surgeon. Iz has had months of treatement for cancer and then was fired due to her error. So how can she return to be a surgeon? Maybe she’ll be a family doc instead? But I hope the return of her character to the hospital is plausable

my anti-spam word was ‘calzone’ so i had to comment! lol.
anyways, i don’t think this is an old episode since there are two Mercy Westers in the scene and it doesn’t sound a familiar scene. but i migth be wrong.
as for izzie, i have no idea how they will bring her back. imo she can stay away. i liked her character at first, but ever since the cancer she has lost her perky charm.
