Chandra at Sam’s Club

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ — On December 12, 2009 from 10 am – 12 pm, “Grey’s Anatomy” star, Emmy Award nominee and Broadway actress Chandra Wilson will be featured at Sam’s Club located at 11425 Carolina Parkway in Pineville, NC for a meet and greet with Sam’s Club members. Chandra is the spokesperson for Downy Touch of Comfort, a program that delivers quilts to children being treated in Children’s Miracle Network hospitals throughout the country.
During the meet and greet, Sam’s Club members will have the chance to meet with Downy Touch of Comfort spokesperson Chandra Wilson. Members will also receive an autographed photo of Chandra as well as the opportunity to take a photo with the “Grey’s Anatomy” star.
In addition, she will be delivering Downy Touch of Comfort quilts with Sam’s Club employees from 2 – 3 pm that afternoon at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
“The Downy Touch of Comfort program delivers comfort to children when they need it most,” said program spokeswoman Chandra Wilson. “As a mom, most of my life focuses on caring for my children and making sure they are safe and secure wherever they may be. It brings me a great deal of joy to be a part of this program and know that Downy is helping children feel more comforted in an unfamiliar and sometimes intimidating place.”
