Question: Could we have some Grey’s Anatomy scoop, please? —Katie
Ausiello: The show’s big flashback episode — slated to air in February or March — will reveal the toll Ellis’ demanding career (as well as her affair with Richard) took on a 4-year-old Meredith. There’s also buzz that the episode will show us Bailey’s days as a Seattle Grace intern and introduce us to the Nazi supervisor who schooled her.(Source)
Alright so I was already really pumped for this episode because of the Richard/Ellis/Meredith/Thatcher flashbacks but now Bailey!!! I am so excited! I really hope this is not just a rumor but is actually true because seeing a young Bailey as an intern would be so awesome! Oh I could just imagine it! Ahh! If the episode shows the toll on a young Meredith, we already know the guilt that Richard feels and genuinely apologised for. I just hope that Thatch also gets to relive this too, cos his apology to Mer met with the coolness it deserved from her. It was woefully inadequate despite the guilt that Susan said she and Tatch felt.
But why revisit Bailey as an intern? Is she reviewing what lead to her marriage breakdown? Isn’t the plot line enough with her career and being a single mom? Or is there a parallel between the Grey/chief storylines.

it would have to be several different flashbacks in that case, theres no way bailey was in her 20s when meredith was 4…
