I found this randomly and it mentions Katherine Heigl so I decided to post it! 
Somebody sent in a question about Katherine to York News-Times so here it is…
Q: I see Katherine Heigl doing all these movies now and I was curious as to whether her role on “Grey’s Anatomy” was her first acting job.
A: Heigl is best known for her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on “Grey’s Anatomy,” although she has starred in a number of popular movies in the last few years.
Heigl started her career as a child model with Wilhelmina Models before she turned her attention to acting. She made her debut in the film, “That Night.” Heigl appeared in the television series “Roswell” and movies including “My Father the Hero” before landing her break-out role in “Grey’s Anatomy.”
