Well the answer is none other than Owina (or Crowen, your choice, but I prefer Owina). It’s not for the best of reasons. I will definitely say that this moment was VERY memorable in 2009 for me.
Owen Choking Cristina (Grey’s Anatomy)
We loved the addition of Owen to the cast last season because his conflicted relationship with Cristina has been slow-burning and realistic. But while we were well aware that Owen was suffering from PTSD, we never expected him to turn around and choke Cristina after an electric fan caused him to forget where he was. It was shocking, gut-wrenching, superbly acted on both parts and one of the best things that Grey’s did in the last year. Or ever. — Angel Cohn(Source)
See, I told you it wasn’t for a good reason. I do agree that it was gut-wrenching and superbly acted on by both of them. It was so incredibly real I couldn’t believe it was actually happening.

I agree with this article. This episode was all about owina for me. The choking was very well acted by both of them and they should have recieved Emmys for that. And after the love scene they had, I didn´t enjoy the elevator proposal! I stoped thinking after the love scene
