This year’s award for the worst imitation of a fake orgasm goes to Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth, who paid tribute to the restaurant “O” scene in When Harry Met Sally. In The Ugly Truth, Heigl’s character wore vibrating panties to a business dinner, and the remote ended up in the hands of a kid at the next table. You can imagine what happens next. Funny? Yes. Izzie had an “I see dead people” disorder, the result of a brain tumor, but she took it a step further when she decided to have sex with the ghost she was seeing. Granted, he was her hot ex-fiance, but all we could think was: Grey‘s where are you going with this ridiculous plot line?

She’s no Meg Ryan, but I thought Katherine did alright in The Ugly Truth. As for the ghost sex…well, you be the judge. Comment below on what you think about KH and her sex scenes.

Have to disagree with them on The Ugly Truth scene – she did a wonderful job. The comparison to Meg’s scene is a bit ridiculous as Meg’s character was supposed to be faking an orgasm and Heigl’s character it was meant to be a real one. The whole Denny coming back plotline wasn’t so great though – but to me this just seems like a chance for someone to take another potshot at Katherine.

I loved The Ugly Truth and I laughed my ass off during that scene, it wasn’t bad.
the ghost sex wasn’t bad either, but the storyline just sucked, it was weird. I didn’t like it. But that doesn’t mean the actual scenes were bad, right?
