Valentines Day Sequel Already?!

They’re already talking about a Valentines Day sequel! What?! I didn’t think the movie was out yet! It certainly doesn’t come in Australia until this Thursday (11th February 2010) so how can they know it will be a hit? (I’m sure it will be, but still).
Anywho, here’s the details on what will likely happen in the V-Day sequel slated for release in late 2011;
Valentine’s Day — which features an all-star lineup that includes Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Foxx, Patrick Dempsey, and Julia Roberts — opens in theaters this Friday, Feb. 12, just in time for the most romantic day of the year on Sunday. And anticipating a huge opening weekend for the romantic blockbuster, producers at New Line Cinema are already busily working on a sequel to the ensemble comedy, Variety said Monday.
Director Garry Marshall is stepping behind the camera again to helm the buzzed-about follow-up, New Year’s Eve. The Valentine’s Day sequel will feature many of the same characters descending on New York City on Dec. 31 to watch the old year turn into a new one filled with possibilities, according to the trade paper.
The film is slated for release late next year.

What are your thoughts? Is it to soon to be shouting about making a sequel? I think it might be. But if it means more Patrick Dempsey, I’m all for it.

V-Day looks really good, but even if it blows at least i spent my money watching patrick
i would love a second movie
ITA!! I will soooooooo spend the $15 to see a movie, just to see Patrick and half naked Eric.

yep Eric is most definitely in Valentines Day. If you watch the recently posted Jimmy kimmel interview he talks about the movie a little.
plus we hve many pics of Eric on set.
He plays a closeted gay football star who has is dating …. The guy from the hangover. I’ve forgotten his name.
