Patrick Selling Weed?! Um, No
Friday, May 17th, 2013Hey Gabblers,
Patrick Dempsey, owner of Tully’s Coffee, made a joke in an interview with Bon Appetit, that his shops would be getting into the marijuana game. It looks like that joke was taken a little too seriously as Paddy felt the need to clarify his statements.
“My comments about selling pot at Tully’s were obviously in jest. We are not selling pot but we do have a great triple shot latte.”

Maybe the world doesn’t know our Paddy the way we do and aren’t aware that he’s a complete jokester! Did people seriously think he was going to turn Seattle into Amsterdam, one coffee shop at a time?

Camilla Talks Jolex!
Friday, May 17th, 2013Hey Grey’s Fam,
Even though the Grey’s season finale had quite a bit of heartbreaking and ‘WTF?’ moments, one of the bright spots was Alex finally confessing his love for Jo and kissing her! Camilla Luddington did a brief interview with Elle to chat about Jolex and that moment we’ve all been waiting for.
How did you prep for that climactic moment? It was the last scene of the night. It was probably one in the morning. Everyone had gone home so there was an intimacy to the set. I separated myself from everyone and listened to really romantic music—Mumford & Sons and U2—and just cheesed it up. By the time he approached me, my heart was beating out of my chest. Let me just say this: Justin Chambers is a wonderful kisser. I totally melted.
Patrick’s Caribbean Vacation!
Friday, May 17th, 2013Hey Yo Gabblers!
Must be nice to be on summer hiatus, huh? Patrick Dempsey was spotted frolicking around the Caribbean with his wife and kids a few days ago.

On a scale of 1 to McDreamy, how jealous are we?

Shonda on Grey’s Season Finale
Friday, May 17th, 2013Hey Grey’s Army,
Shonda Rhimes has spoken! She chatted with the folks over at Entertainment Weekly about the fates of Webber, Calzona, and Crowen.
What she had to say about Richard:
So have we said goodbye to yet another member of our beloved team of doctors? “That’s such an interesting question! I love that people are asking that question,” Rhimes told EW last night at an event at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences that honored the second season finale of her latest hit drama Scandal. “I’m not going to answer it because I like that it’s a question. I will tell you that you will see Jim Pickens again, but I’m not going to answer the question.”
On the upheaval of Calzona:
Rhimes says, “I feel like a lot of LGBT characters on television — and I hopefully don’t fall into this category — are sort of sanitized for our protection. They are happily in love and they hardly ever do anything wrong and they never cheat and they’re never too sexual and they don’t have any other storylines except about them being gay. I felt like I wanted to give them a complex storyline that wasn’t about that.”
Discussing the end of Crowen:
“I think Owen and Christina have been on a very very long journey that’s been really complicated for both of them,” Rhimes says. “I feel like there’s a sense that this is the end of the journey that they’ve been on for two seasons that was sort of messed up by the fact that she was in the plane crash….they were finally forced to have the conversation that neither of them wanted to have and it was a very honest conversation. She walked away and he did not follow, so how they’re going to cope with that is going to be something.”

As per usual with Shonda, I have more questions than answers…
What do you make of what she said about Webber’s fate? How about her thoughts on the effects the plane crash had on Arizona? Do you feel like Crowen is really done or is Shonda going to leave that door open?
What say you???

The Doctor At Death’s Door Is…
Friday, May 17th, 2013Greetings Grey’s Fam!
You all still holding hands and hugging friends after last night’s finale? Yeah, me too. But not for the reason you may think. After all the hype and focus on Arizona’s infidelity and the concerns on the outcome of Meredith and the baby, the hint Shonda dropped that one of the doctor’s lives would hang in the balance seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle. Maybe we all assumed it was Meredith she was speaking of. There were definitely nail-biting moments there. Then I thought, for sure, Jackson was a goner trying to rescue that little girl from the bus. But, in the literal last moment of the finale, we see one of the hospital’s pillars laid out flat in the basement!
Is Richard Dead?
Want to know what is definitely NOT awesome? Richard looking pretty darn lifeless at the end of this season 9 finale having been electrocuted (!) while down in the depths of the hospital trying to restore the power. So help me, if Richard is dead … I can’t talk about it. Not my Richard.
