Erinn Hayes Replaces Chyler Leigh in NBC’s Plane Crash Comedy

The “Guys With Kids” actress will take the role in second position.Guys With Kids co-star Erinn Hayes has lined up an insurance policy with NBC.
The actress has been tapped to replace Grey’s Anatomy alum Chyler Leigh on the network in Holding Patterns, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Chyler Leigh Joins NBC Comedy Pilot

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be missing your weekly dose of the lovable Chyler Leigh on your TV! Well, miss her no more!
Chyler Leigh has landed her first major TV gig since checking out of Grey’s Anatomy last May, scoring one of the lead roles in NBC’s comedy pilot Holding Patterns.
From Office scribe Justin Spitzer, Holding Patterns is a multi-cam ensemble about a group of friends whose lives are altered after surviving a plane crash — ironic considering it was a air disaster that claimed the life of Leigh’s Grey’s character, Lexie.
Leigh will play Leah, the irresponsible, absent-minded, perpetually late slacker. Her life’s a mess and she lacks direction, but she’s not a loser; she’s intelligent, funny, and genuinely values her friends, even when sarcastically mocking them.
