T.R. Knight sat down with Entertainment Tonight for a chat about his new movie “42″, theater and more!
T.R. Knight became a household staple thanks to his role as Dr. George O’Malley on Grey’s Anatomy. But after leaving the show in 2009, Knight returned to his first love, theater, with the musical, Parade. Since then he’s treaded the boards in countless productions while also dipping his toes back in TV waters. First on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit as a set of troubled twins and then on The Good Wife as political consultant, Jordan Karahalios.

We’ve been missing T.R. Knightever since he left Grey’s Anatomy, so we’re totally pumped for his newest role on the big screen in 42. Apparently, so are his old co-stars! Click through the gallery to see Grey’s stars Kim Raver (Teddy Altman) and James Pickens Jr.(Richard Webber) supporting T.R. at the Los Angeles premiere at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California last night (April 9).42 is being released in theaters this weekend and is a biographical film following the life of baseball player Jackie Robinson. In the flick, T.R. plays Harold Parrot.

I went to the movies Thursday night and I saw a preview for the movie “42″ which is a film adaptation of the Jackie Robinson story.
