Kim Nears A Deal For ’24′

Hey Gabblers!

Grey’s Anatomy is my ALL TIME favorite TV show and ’24′ is a very close 2nd so this has ignited my ’24′ fangirl heart! I was first introduced to Kim Raver as Audrey Raines and even after ’24′ ended Kim never left my TV radar.

A new day is about to dawn in the love story of Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Kim Raver is nearing a deal to reprise her role as Kiefer Sutherland’s former onscreen love in Fox’s 12-episode event series 24: Live Another Day.

Raver joined 24 in Season 4 and remained through Season 6. When last seen, in the S6 finale, Audrey was in something of a vegetative state after being tortured and injected with mind-altering drugs by her Chinese captors — a development that led her father James Heller (William Devane) to forbid Jack from ever seeing his daughter again.

I can’t wait for LAD! Will you be tuning in?!

Who Does Sara Miss?

Posted by on Nov 28, 2012 in Blogger: GreysRcksMyWorld, Callie Torres, Chyler Leigh, Eric Dane, Grey's Seasons, Interview, Kim Raver, Lexie Grey, Mark Sloan, Sara Ramirez, Season 9, Teddy Altman | 1 comment

Hey Gabblers!

Sara shared her feelings about co-workers that are no longer on the show!

Grey’s Anatomy is notorious for killing off beloved characters (George O’Malley, Mark Sloan, Denny Duquette, to name a few)—and the ABC show is getting ready to kill off yet another major character in an upcoming episode.

But perhaps the saddest death in the primetime drama’s history has been that of Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), who died in the season eight finale following a tragic plane crash.

Certainly, Lexie’s death was emotional for Sara Ramirez, who plays gay orthopedic surgeon Callie Torres on the hit show. “When I saw it unfold how her character was going to die, I was just like, ‘really?!’” Ramirez tells Latina.com exclusively. “It was just SO hard. I cried a lot at the read-through because of that for sure.”

Ramirez, who calls Leigh “a beautiful human being” and “so funny,” says Leigh “cracked [her] up” on set and explains that she loved working with her on the show. But Ramirez also adds that Leigh isn’t the only former Grey’s star she misses around the set these days. “I remember hearing about Kim Raver leaving—and I LOVE Kim Raver and that made me sad—very sad,” Ramirez says. “Because I just loved working with her.”

And what about Eric Dane, the actor who played plastic surgeon Mark Sloan (Callie’s on-again, off-again one-night stand)? “[Eric] and I actually entered the [Grey’s Anatomy] family at the same time—so we have a bond and he knows how I feel about him,” Ramirez explains. “It’s just a lot of loss,” she says, “and whenever there’s loss, it just triggers all kinds of emotions—and so you either walk through it consciously or you try to escape it, you know? (Laughs). That’s how we do it, right?”

Ramirez, who has been with Grey’s for eight seasons now, says actors get just as emotional as fans when cast members leave the show. “I think there’s always some kind of emotion when you find out that someone’s leaving a show—and I tend to be a very nostalgic person, so when I see that people are leaving I think, ‘wow, it’s amazing that all of the years that have gone by, have gone by,” she says.

And speaking of loss, Ramirez says her character Callie has lost almost everyone she’s ever loved. “She lost George O’Malley, she lost Erica Hahn, she lost her mother in a sense, she lost Arizona for a little bit, and she almost lost her own life and her child’s life, and now she’s lost Mark,” she explains.

But Ramirez says Callie is in a new place in her life. “In terms of just being married to a woman, having a child— she’s just in a new chapter in a way, ever since she embarked on the journey with Arizona—so I think there’s been some evolution there. So I suppose Callie will take it in stride like she takes everything else.”

Hey Gabblers!

Thanks to MariaCallizonaFAN on YT here is the complete blooper reel from S8 DVD as well as a deleted scene from the episode that featured the “Ladies Night” scene.

(Source|MariaCallizonaFAN on YT)

I’ve seen comments where some people are disappointed that  a few of the deleted scenes didn’t make the episode but I like the fact that I have something to look forward to when I buy the DVD box set.

The blooper reel made me miss Lexie even more!

Who Will Definitely Return For Season 9?

Posted by on Jul 4, 2012 in Alex Karev, Amusement, April Kepner, Arizona Robbins, Ben Warren, Callie Torres, Chyler Leigh, Cristina Yang, Derek Shepherd, Jackson Avery, Kim Raver, Lexie Grey, Mark Sloan, Meredith Grey, Miranda Bailey, Owen Hunt, Season 8, Season 9, Teddy Altman, The Chief | 18 comments

Hey Gabblers!

Our friends over at Wet Paint have summarized who they think will be back for sure next season.

Now, don’t take this as 100% true, but they do give some good reasoning behind their suggestions!

Okay, guys. It’s July, which means it’s time to take a moment to pause and look at what we know aboutGrey’s AnatomySeason 9. More specifically, we want to look at what we know about which characters are and aren’t coming back. Because although the entire cast is still on contract, the end of Season 8, Episode 24, “Flight”left many fates up in the air.

Here’s the rundown.

Definitely Returning

April Kepner (Sarah Drew): Sarah told us that she is officially coming back next season. Despite April’s boards failure, the writers will have tofind a way to work her into the plot.

Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd): Owen is one of the few characters who is obviously safe: He is keeping his job at Seattle Grace-Mercy West and he wasn’t in the plane crash. Plus, Kevin McKidd has chatted a lot about what he hopes to see for the character next season.

Miranda Bailey (Chanda Wilson): Like Owen, Bailey is safe and sound at Seattle Grace-Mercy West, and there are even spoilers about her plotline next season — namely that Jason George, who plays her hottie fiancee Ben, will still be around some of the time.

Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) and Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez): Although there hasn’t been much Grey’s talk from either actor, there’s no reason to think Richard or Callie won’t be back, since they are also in the special category of “employed by Seattle Grace-Mercy West and not in the crash.”

Fate Up in the Air

Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), and Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh): Since these original cast members renewed their contracts for two seasons we seriously doubt Shonda will kill them off or permanently send them to a different hospital. Still, there’s no confirmation that they’ll definitely stick around.

Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) and Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw): We also don’t really think Shonda will kill Mark or Arizona, but it’s worth noting that these two were in the worst shape by far whenSeason 8 ended. There have been (very unsubstantiated) rumors that someone else might die in the Season 9 premiere. If that rumor does turn out to be true (hopefully not!) Mark and Arizona seem to be the most likely targets based on their injuries.

Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams): It’s also worth noting that Alex and Jackson are both supposed to be leaving Seattle for greener pastures elsewhere. Will they end up sticking around? Probably, but we can’t say for sure.

Definitely Gone

Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh): We don’t even want to talk about this. We all know why she’s not coming back. (*sob*)

Teddy Altman (Kim Raver): Shonda Rhimes confirmed that Teddy is indeed leaving Seattle Grace-Mercy West for good. (Though since she’s alive, there’s still a chance she might return as a guest star now and then.)

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.

So we already knew Lexie and Teddy were gone. What do you think about those whose fate was left in the balance? Do you think someone will die in the season premiere? If so, who do you think?

Let us know below!
