Male Lead Cast in Krista Vernoff Pilot

It’s always nice to hear that things are going well for a member of the Grey’s family, past or present, and things certainly seem to be lookin’ good for former GA and PP producer, Krista Vernoff! Her pilot show, Rita has just cast it’s male lead!
Josh Hamiltonhas landed the male lead opposite Anna Gunn in Bravo‘s hourlong pilot Rita. Written by Krista Vernoff and directed byMiguel Arteta, Rita is a Fox TV Studios-produced adaptation of a Danish series. It is a family drama that follows Rita (Gunn), an acerbic, outspoken private-school teacher who struggles to raise her three teenage children while dealing with the inane bureaucracy and overprotective parents at her school. Hamilton will play Terrence, the principal at Cabbott Academy who is infatuated with the enigmatically sexy Rita but for her, their relationship is one of convenience.

Bravo wants a pilot from Krista Vernoff, Executive Producer from Grey’s Anatomy for the drama, Rita!
Rita, adapted from the Danish format by Fox Television Studios, is a family drama that centers on an acerbic and outspoken private school teacher who struggles to raise her three teen children while dealing with bureaucracy and overprotective parents at her school.
Grey’s Anatomy‘s Krista Vernoff will write and executive produce the project with Fuse Entertainment’s Mikkel Bondesen (The Killing) and Henrik Bastin (My Generation).

Wise words there from Krista. It is true though; you may be mad at Shonda but this is a TV show. If there was no drama, we’d all stop watching! Going as far as to “attack” Shonda via twitter is no way to treat her and Chyler leaving was her choice. In my opinion, the way Chyler ended her time on the show was a great tribute to her character and Chyler did such an excellent job playing out her death scene.
What d0 you guys think about those who have been attacking Shonda for her storyline?
