Hey again, Gabblers!
Take the time to check out TV Line’s recap of last night’s explosive (no pun intended) Grey’s Anatomy season 9 finale, “Perfect Storm”! You can find some of it below!
THE CLOSER | First, Mer understandably freaks when her newborn doesn’t immediately cry. Then, after Derek takes away their perfectly healthy (and incredibly clean) tot to the nursery, Shane is left to close.
FROM START TO FINISH | Overcoming his fear that he’s some kind of lady jinx who turns every woman he’s involved with into a basket case, Alex finally admits to Jo that he loves her, and they engage in a whole smoochapalooza.
SHOCKING… LITERALLY | Unaware that Bailey has stepped in and saved Mer, Richard spends the hour believing that his efforts to cajole her back into the OR have failed. She’s just about to find him to fill him in and apologize for their big fight when we see that – holy crap! – when the power came back on, he was electrocuted in the flooded basement!

I’ve watched the finale, read A LOT of tweets and A LOT of comments about it. It’s a mixed bag of thoughts and emotions. My question to you is- which part(s) of this finale did you liked most, absolutely hate, were disappointed by?

Finale Stunner! THR Recaps 9×24

Here’s a peek at last night’s Grey’s Anatomy season 9 finale, “Perfect Storm”!
Grey’s Anatomy’s Shonda Rhimes said there would be an “emotional death” in the season nine finale and was very right — on multiple levels.
1. Arizona, caught cheating.
2. Cristina (Sandra Oh) doesn’t want to stand in Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) way of becoming a father.
3. Webber’s (James Pickens Jr.) down, but is he out?

TV Guide Recaps S9 Finale

Hey, fab Gabblers!!!!!
WHOA! What a finale!!!!!! Was my heart the only one that was racing even while the episode was airing?? lol If you’ve watched the finale or if you’re still waiting to see it but don’t mind knowing what took place, here’s a bit of TV Guide’s recap of Grey’s Anatomy episode 9×24, “Perfect Storm”!
Grey’s Anatomy super storm rocked the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in more ways than one: At least one doc got the shock of his life, another couple broke up and the fate of two other couples was left up in the air. Fortunately, there was some good news during the finale: Meredith Grey had her baby, and he’s totally fine! Let’s take a look at where our fave docs ended up this season:
Meredith and Derek: To complicate matters during the storm, Meredith’s in labor and needs a C-section, but with the power out, it’ll be next to impossible.
Bailey: After Ben and Richard try to get through to Bailey, the stalwart doc is still not doing surgery. But she saves the day when the docs are unable to get to get to all the meds when the power is out, giving her a nice confidence boost to later help save Meredith
Richard: After helping Cris through a surgery in the dark, he finally gets recognition for being an awesome teacher — a perfect setup for him to die.

WOW! I am beyond pleased with how this season ended. Happy endings, moments of clarity, inner issues revealed, etc. Perfect setups for a brand new season this fall. Once again, I am personally impressed by everyone who works to make Shondaland happen. I know ya’ll got plenty to say about this finale so let’s hear it! :)
