Did you watch tonight’s new episode of Grey’s Anatomy? It was sick….literally. Check out these recaps! Remember to click on the source links to read them in full!
The doctors of Grey’s Anatomy are not immune to getting sick themselves.
During Thursday’s episode, when a young patient sneezes on Arizona, she suspects she’s going to get sick. But she’s actually spreading the bug throughout the hospital, which comes at the most inopportune time for many doctors…
HAVE A HEART | Early on in “You Be Illin’,” Cristina is more than annoyed that a ho-hum, run-of-the-mill heart transplant takes her away from her conduit kids on the last day for her report to the NIH, she’s also worried that one of the infants will catch the bug that’s going around. (Sick infant = bad report = no Harper Avery Award for her.)
PINCH HITTER | Since a buncha skeptical scientists from around the world have descended on Grey Sloan to hear Derek’s speech inviting them to kibitz on his brain-mapping project, he’s determined not to let the flu bring him down…
Patients vs. Doctors:April sees a patient with an autoimmune disorder in the ER with a tiny zit on his head that starts to grow into a larger infection.
Aggression vs. Determination:Back in the OR, Jo finds a certain joy in the ability to take out her aggression on a patient’s bones while making them better. Callie glows with pride as another female may bring her talents over to the hardcore side of surgery…
Really liked this episode! When it didn’t have me cringing thinking about all my little students and the number of germs running rampant everyday in my classroom it had me doubled over in laughter in hysterics. Like Arizona bobbin’ her head to “Atomic Dog” and calling Alex a hobo. Or the way Derek slid down the hospital wall passing out from illness. Comedic gold. Any favorite scenes? Share ‘em!
